CANCER RISK REDUCTION PROTOCOL

Practical strategies to support long term health, energy and wellbeing in the workplace

ENQUIRE NOW

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol is a workplace masterclass designed to help employees understand the everyday factors that influence their long term health and the practical changes they can start making now to prevent cancer returning, disease developing and to enhance longevity

Meaning employers have less absences, less redundancies and get to retain their best employees

  • Sitting for hours

  • Skipping meals between meetings

  • Reaching for another coffee to get through the afternoon

  • Spending most of the day looking at a screen

  • Going home physically tired with a mind that is still at work

Over time, these behaviours become normal.

But normal does not always mean healthy.

Meaning employers face higher sickness absence costs, greater reliance on agency staff, increased compassionate leave, lower team morale, more HR intervention, increased disciplinary action and greater pressure across the workforce.

Your employees spend a huge part of their lives at work.

What is the ROI of investing in Cancer prevention?

Employee health is a business issue.

Poor workplace health costs UK employers around £85 billion every year through sick pay, lost output, reduced productivity and the wider costs associated with employees leaving work due to ill health.

And the cost quickly reaches individual organisations.

  • £120: The estimated cost to a business for every employee sickness absence day.

  • £11,000: The estimated cost of replacing an employee who leaves work due to ill health.

  • 148.8 million:Working days were lost to sickness or injury across the UK in 2025.

Considering 50% of our nation is predicted to experience Cancer across our lifetime, we know a huge proportion of this will be down to Cancer alone.

Cancer alone is estimated to cost the UK economy £1.7 billion every year and huge amount of this is paid by the workforce.

THE MASTERCLASS

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol gives your organisation an opportunity to move some of its wellbeing investment earlier, before prolonged absence and before poor health becomes something the business has to react to.

The masterclass gives your workforce practical education around nutrition, movement, metabolic health, stress, sleep and everyday health behaviours they can influence.

For your organisation, that means investing in the people you already have and building a workplace culture where long term health is taken seriously.

Because prevention is not only good for your people.

A healthier workforce is good for business.

Cancer prevention deserves a place in workplace wellbeing.

We spend years thinking about pensions, career progression and financial security for the future.

We should be thinking about the health we want to have when we get there too.

Cancer and chronic disease do not only become relevant when somebody receives a diagnosis.

Long term health is influenced by patterns repeated over years.

  • How we eat

  • How we move

  • How we sleep

  • How we manage the demands placed on our body

  • What we are exposed to

  • How well we nourish ourselves

The workplace can influence many of those patterns.

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol gives your employees the education to understand them.

So instead of health becoming something they think about when something goes wrong, they can start supporting it now.

Healthy employees build healthier businesses.

Your workforce is one of your biggest investments.

And their health affects far more than absence figures.

It affects energy, concentration, performance, engagement and how well people are able to cope with the demands of their working day.

The masterclass gives employees practical education around nutrition, metabolic health, movement, stress, sleep, hormones and environmental health.

They learn how the choices they make during and outside their working day can support their health over the long term.

For your organisation, this means moving beyond wellbeing initiatives that simply tick a box.

You are giving your people something they can use for years to come.

Because protecting the health of your workforce is also protecting the future of your business.

One masterclass. A completely different understanding of health.

During Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol, employees learn about the areas of everyday health that can influence their long term wellbeing.

Metabolic health and blood sugar

  • Employees learn how the body produces and uses energy and why stable blood sugar matters for energy, metabolic health and the way they feel throughout their working day.

  • They start recognising the habits behind the afternoon crashes, constant cravings and reliance on caffeine.

Hormone health

  • Hormones matter for men and women.

  • Employees learn how nutrition, stress and lifestyle can influence hormone health and why hormones are connected to far more than periods or menopause.

Gut and immune health

  • Employees learn about the relationship between gut health, immune function and the body's wider systems.

  • They begin to understand why supporting the body cannot be reduced to one supplement, one food or one isolated symptom.

Movement and lymphatic health

  • A working day can mean hours sitting at a desk.

  • Employees learn why regular movement matters beyond weight management and how it supports circulation, metabolic health and overall wellbeing.

Environmental health and toxin reduction

  • We think carefully about what we eat, but health goes beyond just this. We cover what we are exposed to throughout the rest of the day.

  • The masterclass introduces environmental health and practical ways employees can become more conscious of everyday exposures without becoming frightened or trying to live perfectly.

Nutrition and nourishment

  • Employees leave understanding the role of protein, fibre, healthy fats, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals in supporting the body's normal functions.

  • This is food they can actually buy, meals they can actually bring to work to eat and the changes they can actually maintain alongside work and family life.

Stress, sleep and the modern working day

  • A body that is constantly switched on eventually feels it.

  • Employees learn how the demands of modern working life can influence sleep, energy and wellbeing and the practical ways they can better support themselves.

As an employer, you cannot control every health outcome within your workforce.

But you can give your people better education.

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol helps your employees understand how their everyday choices can support their long term health.

They leave knowing how to fuel their body properly, support their energy, move more throughout the working day, recognise when stress is becoming a problem and make more informed decisions around their health.

The aim is to create a workforce that does not wait until something goes wrong before health becomes a priority.

A workforce that feels more confident taking responsibility for the areas of their health they can influence.

And a workforce that knows their employer is willing to invest in their health before they become unwell.

For your organisation, that matters because the people building the future of your business need their health to be able to enjoy their own.

Move your workplace wellbeing strategy from reactive to proactive

A large amount of workplace health support begins once there is already a problem.

  • When an employee is struggling, sickness absence increases, stress becomes unmanageable.

  • Or somebody receives a diagnosis.

By this point, supporting that employee can require far more than sick pay.

There can be occupational health referrals, additional HR support, phased returns, temporary cover and increased pressure on the rest of the team.

If an employee becomes unable to continue in their role, the organisation may also face a lengthy dismissal process involving HR, occupational health and potentially legal support.

Then there is the cost of replacing the experience that leaves with them.

The Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol gives your organisation an opportunity to start the conversation much earlier.

Employees receive practical education so they can begin to understand how their habits day to day can influence their wider health and what they can do to support themselves. Giving your organisation an opportunity to make prevention part of your wider wellbeing strategy.

There will always be a cost attached to supporting employee health.

The question is when that cost appears.

You can invest in supporting your people before they are struggling.

Or potentially face the much greater financial and human cost once their health begins affecting their ability to work.

It also sends an important message to your people:

We do not only care about your health when something goes wrong.

A masterclass employees can actually use

Employees do not need another wellbeing session they forget about the moment they return to their inbox.

They need information that makes sense in the reality of a working day.

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol has been designed around that.

  • The employee sitting for hours at a desk.

  • The person skipping lunch because their diary is full.

  • The afternoon caffeine and sugar crash.

  • The employee struggling to switch off after work.

  • The person who knows they should look after themselves better but has no idea where to begin.

Your employees leave with a better understanding of their body and practical changes they can begin implementing immediately, without extreme routines.

Just education they can take back into their working day and their life outside it.

Your masterclass will be delivered by Chloe Jane

Founder of Cloco Health

Cancer prevention is personal to me.

Five members of my family have been diagnosed with cancer.

For years, I believed cancer came down to genetics and luck and there was very little we could do about it.

My own experience with chronic stress later changed the direction of my life too.

I was running two businesses, working constantly, skipping meals and barely giving my body an opportunity to recover.

Eventually, I lost my periods completely.

Those experiences led me to retrain and dedicate my work to understanding nutrition, environmental health, hormones and cancer risk reduction.

Today, through Cloco Health, I work with individuals and organisations to make preventative health education practical and accessible.

My aim is not to frighten your employees about cancer.

It is to show them that their health deserves their attention now.

More than another workplace wellbeing talk

Your employees already know they should drink more water, move more and manage their stress.

Repeating that information is unlikely to change much.

Cancer Risk Reduction Protocol helps them understand why their everyday habits matter.

  • Why energy crashes happen

  • Why nourishment matters

  • Why constantly feeling switched on matters

  • Why sleep matters

  • Why their wider environment matters

And how those pieces connect to their long term health.

When employees understand what is happening inside their body, the advice they have heard for years finally has a reason behind it.

That is when information becomes far more likely to become action.
